5
The Reconciliation Result shows a summary at the top: Total Items, Exact Matches, Probable Matches, Missing in Books, Missing in 2B, and the overall Match Rate.
6
The table below shows every invoice with its status. Exact Match means the invoice in your books matches GSTR-2B exactly. Probable Match means a close match was found but some fields differ. Missing in Books means the invoice is in GSTR-2B but not found in your uploaded invoices. Missing in 2B means the invoice is in your books but not reported in GSTR-2B.
7
Each row shows both the 2B value and your books value side by side so you can spot any differences instantly.

Use the Search box to find a specific invoice by GSTIN or invoice number. Use the Status and ITC Eligibility filters to focus on a specific category.
9
For each row, use the action icons to make a decision. For Exact Matches, click Accept to claim ITC, Reject to skip it, or Defer to decide later. For Missing in Books items, click Add to Books to create a purchase invoice directly from the GSTR-2B data, or Reject or Defer. You can also add a note to any row using the note icon.
10
If you have many Exact Matches, click Accept All Exact Matches to approve them all at once.
11
For invoices linked to your books, you can set ITC eligibility by clicking the ITC chip on that row. This opens a per-line breakdown where you can mark each line as Eligible or Ineligible and click Save Eligibilities.
12
The Pending Review button at the top right shows the total count of items across all months that still need a decision. Click it to see all pending items in one place, with filters for month, status, and ITC eligibility.
13
If you file quarterly under the QRMP scheme, click Quarterly (QRMP) at the top. Select the quarter and financial year. 2
GSTR-9 is your annual summary return. It is auto-populated from your approved invoices, GSTR-3B filings, and GSTR-2B reconciliation data for the full financial year.
3
At the top right, select the Financial Year from the dropdown. The dropdown shows how many months of GSTR-3B data are available for that year, for example 12/12 months means all twelve months are covered.
4
If no return has been generated yet, click Generate GSTR-9. Once generated, you will see the return in Draft status with data organized across multiple tabs.
5
The first tab is Part II, which shows Outward and Inward Supplies for the full year. Table 4 breaks down supplies by type: B2C supplies to unregistered persons, B2B supplies to registered persons, zero-rated exports, SEZ supplies, deemed exports, advances received, inward supplies under reverse charge, and CDN amendments. These figures are auto-filled from your approved invoices. Table 5 below shows Non-Taxable Outward Supplies, including exempted, nil-rated, and non-GST supplies.
6
The second tab is Part III, which shows ITC Details aggregated from your twelve months of GSTR-3B returns. Table 6 shows ITC Availed. Row 6A shows total ITC as per your GSTR-3B returns. Rows 6B, 6C, and 6D let you break this down into capital goods, other inward supplies, and input services. Table 7 shows ITC Reversed across different rules including Rule 37, Rule 39, Rules 42 and 43, Section 17(5) blocked credits, and other reversals. How to check ITC and handle mismatches in Invozen

Play

Description

Welcome to Invozen. In this video, we'll show you how to track your input tax credit and handle mismatches using ITC Tracking.
1
On the left menu, click GST Compliance, then click ITC Tracking.
2
ITC Tracking gives you a complete picture of your available, claimed, and reversed input tax credit for each return period. It pulls data automatically from your purchase invoices and your GSTR-3B filing so you always know your exact credit position.
3
At the top, select Monthly or Quarterly depending on your filing frequency. Then choose the month and year. Click Regenerate to pull the latest figures from your processed invoices.
4
You will see four summary tiles at the top. Available ITC shows the total credit available from your purchase invoices for the period. Claimed ITC shows the amount claimed in your GSTR-3B Table 4 and is updated automatically when you generate your GSTR-3B. Additional Reversal shows any manual reversals you have entered. Closing Balance is calculated as Opening plus Available minus Claimed minus Reversed.
5
Below the tiles, the Ledger section shows the period breakdown row by row. Opening Balance is carried forward from the previous finalized period. Available ITC is auto-calculated from your approved invoices. Claimed ITC is pulled directly from your GSTR-3B and does not need to be entered manually. Additional Reversal has input fields where you can enter amounts for Rule 37, Rule 42, or Rule 43 reversals. These sync with your GSTR-3B automatically. The Closing Balance row at the bottom updates instantly as you make changes.
6
If your closing balance looks incorrect, check whether any invoices for the period are still pending approval, or whether a reversal amount is missing.
7
Once you have reviewed the figures, click Save Changes to save as a draft, or click Save and Finalize to lock the period. A finalized period cannot be edited further.
8
Scroll down to the Running Ledger to see all periods at a glance. Each row shows the opening balance, available ITC, claimed ITC, reversals, closing balance, and status. Any period still showing as Draft or with unexpected zero values should be reviewed before filing.
9
To download, click Export Excel to get a full copy of the ITC ledger for offline review, CA handover, or audit records.
10
And that is it. If you have any questions, reach us at hello@invozen.in or use the Support option inside the app.

How to check vendor GST compliance

Play

Description

Welcome to Invozen. In this video, we'll show you how to check vendor GST compliance using the Vendor Compliance feature.
1
On the left menu, click GST Compliance, then click Vendor Compliance.
2
Vendor Compliance gives you a risk view of all your suppliers based on their purchase register data and GSTR-2B reconciliation history. It helps you spot vendors who are repeatedly missing from GSTR-2B or have invoice mismatches, so you can protect your ITC before filing.
3
At the top, select the Return Period, Year, and Window. The Window controls how many past periods are included in the risk calculation. For example, Last 6 Periods looks across the last six months to identify patterns rather than one-off issues. You can also search by GSTIN or vendor name to jump directly to a specific supplier.
4
The five summary tiles at the top give you an instant overview. Total Vendors shows how many suppliers are visible in the selected window. Red Risk shows vendors with repeated missing or mismatched invoices across multiple periods. These require immediate attention as they indicate a consistent compliance pattern. Amber Risk shows vendors with one-off or low-value issues that are worth monitoring. Green Vendors shows suppliers with no open compliance issues. Affected Tax shows the total taxable value and tax amount at risk across all flagged vendors.
5
Below the tiles, the Vendor Risk table lists all suppliers with their GSTIN, risk rating, number of periods active, issue periods, invoices missing in GSTR-2B, mismatches, affected taxable value, affected tax, and the last period with an issue. You can filter the list by clicking Red Risk, Amber Risk, or Green Risk to focus on specific categories.
6
To inspect a vendor in detail, click anywhere on their row. A panel opens on the right side showing the vendor name, GSTIN, and risk rating. You will see three summary figures: Issue Periods, Total Issues, and Affected Tax for that vendor within the selected window.
7
Below that, the Period History table shows a row for each month. For each period you can see how many invoices are in your books, the total books value, how many were matched in GSTR-2B, the matched GSTR-2B value, the count of missing invoices, the count of mismatches, and the period status as either Clean or Issue.
8
At the bottom of the panel, the Issue Notes section shows the specific problems found. For example, a Date Mismatch means the invoice date in your books differs from what the supplier reported in GSTR-2B. Each note shows the period, invoice number, the difference amount, and the tax impact. Green vendors will show no missing or mismatch issues in the selected window.
9
To download the full vendor risk report, click Export Excel at the top right. This gives you a spreadsheet of all vendors with their risk ratings, period history, and issue details for your CA or audit records. Click Refresh to recalculate vendor risk with the latest GSTR-2B and purchase data.
10
And that is it. If you have any questions, reach us at hello@invozen.in or use the Support option inside the app.

For Individual accounts, click your profile icon or go to your account settings. Scroll down to the Notification Preferences section. You will see a list of toggles for each type of alert. These include Invoice upload reminder, GSTR-2B upload reminder, GSTR-2B mismatch reminder, ITC mismatch reminder, ITC ledger reminder, GSTR-1 monthly deadline, GSTR-1 QRMP deadline, GSTR-2B availability, GSTR-3B deadline, and GSTR-9 annual deadline. Turn on the alerts you want and turn off the ones you do not need. Click Save Preferences when done.
3
For Firm accounts, notification preferences are set per client so each client can have a different set of reminders. On the left menu, click Company Management, then click Clients. Find the client you want to configure and click the bell icon on their row. A dialog will open showing the same list of notification types for that client. Toggle the ones you want enabled for that client and click Save Preferences. Repeat this for each client as needed.
